Press release from Children’s Trust of Alachua County

The Children’s Trust of Alachua County has authorized up to $20,000 to sponsor community-based events.

“This funding provides a way for the Trust to partner with child-serving agencies as they reach out and engage the community in ways that benefit the children and families of Alachua County,” explained Colin Murphy, Executive Director of the Children’s Trust of Alachua County.

Some types of community-based events that may be sponsored include: service/cultural fairs, special needs resource events, health education events, educational events, school readiness events, and conferences. Other sponsorships will also be considered. Eligibility requirements and application procedures can be found by clicking: Bids and RFPs | Children’s Trust of Alachua County, Florida.

Requests will be considered to the extent that they address the issues in the Children’s Trust of Alachua County’s (CTAC) strategic funding plan:

  • All children are born healthy and remain healthy
  • All children can learn what they need to be successful
  • All children have nurturing, supportive caregivers and relationships
