“Christmas in July” benefit luncheon to be held on July 28

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Save the date!  July 28, 2024!  That is the date of our second annual “Christmas in July” Benefit Luncheon being held this year at Star Centre Theatre from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. 

Star Center Theatre is located at 11 NE 23rd Avenue Gainesville, FL  32609. This year’s fun, entertaining event is being held to raise toys and gifts for children and teens in families being served by the Caring & Sharing Learning School. The toys and gifts are not for Christmas; December is the month for that purpose. Christmas in July toys and gifts are to be used for birthdays as well as incentives for either good behavior, improved, and/or good grades. Many children do not have birthday parties or receive gifts for their birthdays or as incentives and rewards for improved grades, good behavior, or service. Our Christmas in July Benefit Luncheon helps non-profit organizations be able to provide such gifts.

Funds from this event will also support Tee Foundation Assistance Network, Inc.’s Greatest Need Fund, Nonprofit Assistance Strategy, and/or Scholarship Initiatives.

You have to eat somewhere, so please get your ticket quick and come have lunch with us. Ticket donation prices are less ($35) for those who bring a nice, unwrapped toy, book, or gift for children and teens; if you don’t bring a gift, or show up without one, then your ticket price goes up to $50. Either way, it is a small price to pay in support of our children, scholarship funds, and community improvement strategies. Can’t come? Contributions are welcome. Sponsorships are also available.
