  • The NFDO’s Economic Development Representative (EDS) will provide an overview of the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Program and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
  • The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering designated states and territories low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), to small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act or the Act) (P.L. 116-136) was signed to provide emergency assistance and health care response for individuals, families, and businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The Small Business Administration (SBA) received funding and authority through the Act to modify existing loan programs and establish a new loan program to assist small businesses nationwide adversely impacted by the COVID-19 emergency; the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
