City of Hawthorne to hold City Commission election on June 10

HAWTHORNE, Fla. – The City of Hawthorne 2025 Election is June 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Hawthorne Community Center (6700 SE 221st Street, Hawthorne, FL 32640).

There are two candidates for Commissioner Seat 2:

• Mary Ann Clawson
• Randy Martin

Pre-Election Testing of Voting Equipment and Inspection of Absentee Ballots is Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hawthorne Community Center

A run-off election (if needed) is Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hawthorne Community Center.

The Canvassing Board will meet on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hawthorne Community Center to certify the City Election.

The Canvassing Board Members are: Jacquelyn Randall, Chair/Mayor; Lakesha McGruder, City Clerk and Ms. Marian Rucker (Resident & City Elector)
