College student favorite “Gator Ron” sings karaoke at MacDinton’s on Wednesdays and Fridays
Press release from Ron Blake
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Ron Blake, a 77-year-old former Alachua County teacher, loves to entertain and sing karaoke, and the college students go wild. Every Wednesday and Friday from 9 p.m. to midnight at MacDintons (formerly the Social), you can come hear Ron Blake, better known as Gator Ron to all the college kids who love to get his picture and autograph. You will always find him in Gator clothes everywhere he goes. He is very exciting and fun to watch, as he gets the crowd dancing when he sings their favorites like Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, along with many others.Â
Ron also does private parties and events and sings at other restaurants with his singing jukebox duo partner Brad Seales.
Ron can also be occasionally found on Saturday nights at Queens Arm in Haile Plantation, and Brad and Ron sing at Pink Flamingo in High Springs (the next date is September 7).
