Community update on new property for the Deeper Purpose Community Complex

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – We wanted to take the time tonight to update our community and supporters on the progress of our building project and the new church property at Deeper Purpose Community Complex that will serve our tri-city area and surrounding areas.

In April of 2022, we launched Part 1 of our Building Purpose Campaign 1,000: we asked 100 people, families, businesses, individuals, organizations, and private/ anonymous donors to donate $1,000 in 100 days.

With your help, we were able to purchase the land, as well as pay to clear the land. We ended up clearing only two-thirds of the land to open it up and left a lot of trees along the back side. The land clearing got finished around the end of December. It’s been quite a long process.

We made it clear from the beginning that the 13.6 acres would be the future home of the Deeper Purpose Community Complex, which would house our Church, New School Deeper Purpose Christian Academy, our Community & Outreach Center for Deeper Purpose Community Charities, Inc, a Commercial Kitchen for Deeper Purpose Community Cafè, and a Youth Center for our Deeper Purpose Nation Children, and Student Ministries.

Deeper Purpose Kids Academy, our Nursery & Preschool, will most likely move to the new property as well in two years, when our lease is up where we are now. We’re not sure just yet.

Because we do not have all of the money needed–YET–that would allow us to build everything at once, we need to build things in phases and take our time. We have decided that our priority and one of the greatest needs right now in our community is a new school. And the new school will be Phase 1.

Deeper Purpose Christian Academy School, Incorporated, will serve students from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.

Pastor Adam Joy is a firm believer that with GOD, nothing shall be impossible, but he also believes that with GOD and along with the help of the community, this can quickly be accomplished!

The above photos show a design of what the initial main 10,000 SF building will look like along with some classrooms, but we will add more entry/exit doors. The photo looks small, but it would be able to comfortably hold 300 students. Also pictured is a photo of the type of 5,000 to 7,000 square foot pole barn that we need on the property for the Children’s Activities, After Schoolers, Summer Camp, Community Events, and More, as well as some of the new playground equipment that we’ll need.

In the new school, we will have a Wall of Donors, those who believed in the vision of our leadership, whose hearts were touched by God, and who were moved to help make it happen. God is doing something amazing and new in our community, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

In launching Part 2 of our Building Project, we are not putting a deadline on it this time. If everyone who CAN help, WILL help, it won’t take long at all. We don’t want anyone to think that what they can give is too small. God can bless the one who gives just $50, just as much as He can bless the one who gives $50,000. He looks at the heart, not the amount. But we need you to be with us in this. We are committed and dedicated to the families and children in our community here, and this will happen, but only with your help!

Our goal and what’s needed for Part 2 of the Capital Campaign is $300,000. $90,000 of that has been pledged this week alone!
