D-BAT, a global baseball and softball training facility, is coming to the Oaks Mall

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Colliers GNV Commercial Advisory Team is excited to announce that D-BAT, a global indoor baseball and softball training facility, is expected to open in May 2025 in the Oaks Mall, directly across from the UF Health Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic.

The Colliers GNV Commercial Advisory Team represented the tenant, Six-Four-Three, LLC, in securing this highly anticipated location. The addition of D-BAT marks a game-changing development for Gainesville and surrounding areas seeking top-tier training and extracurricular activities.

Founded in 1998 by Cade and Kyle Griffis, D-BAT began as a small indoor training facility in Addison, Texas, and has since expanded to over 170 locations worldwide. Known for its state-of-the-art, climate-controlled environments and personalized player development programs, D-BAT is a top destination for athletes at all levels, from youth leagues to MLB prospects. The Gainesville location will offer indoor batting cages, pitching machines, and a fully stocked pro shop, providing a complete experience for aspiring players and their families. This expansion reflects D-BAT’s mission to bring elite baseball and softball training to more communities nationwide.
