Dance Alive National Ballet brings Swan Lake to the stage

Press release from Dance Alive National Ballet

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Experience the timeless classic of “Swan Lake” with Dance Alive National Ballet.

Dance Alive National Ballet is proud to present Swan Lake on January 31, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Gainesville. Tickets range from $35 to $70, with discounted rates for children, students, and seniors.

Back by popular demand! The most beautiful ballet of all-time, “Swan Lake” is the story of a Prince whose fiancée has been transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer, Von Rothbart. Featuring DANB Principal Dancer Carla Amâncio as the Swan Queen, the stage is transformed into a world of beauty and artistry. Family-friendly.

“What can you say that hasn’t been already said about Swan Lake? The greatest of the classical ballets, it embodies everything that audiences, dancers, and students of ballet love and respect about ballet,” said Artistic Director Kim Tuttle. “Without a doubt, it is my personal favorite, and I feel such joy in presenting it to you.”
