Dance Alive National Ballet presents A Class with Clara!

Press release from Dance Alive National Ballet

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Dance Alive National Ballet provides two opportunities for your special child to dance on the stage of the Phillips Center with ‘Clara’, the heroine of NUTCRACKER, who saves the Nutcracker Prince.

Children can join the charming ‘Clara’ onstage for a prince- or princess-style ballet class! Gifts will be handed out following the event. All ages are welcome.

There is no charge for parents/friends accompanying ‘Clara’s’ guests. Plan on sitting in the theatre and enjoy watching your child explore this special opportunity. Do bring cameras! If needed, you can join your child on stage.

“As a Main Street Bank, PNC is proud to support the arts in our local communities, knowing how a vibrant arts community enriches lives and builds strong communities,” said Chris Kalin, PNC regional president for North Florida. “In this context, supporting Dance Alive’s performance of The Nutcracker, which is a holiday tradition for many, not only makes sense, but it is also something we couldn’t be prouder to be part of.”

“Class with Clara” will be held at 4 p.m. on December 21 and 22 at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Click here for ticket information.
