Dance Alive National Ballet to present Heather Sorenson’s “REQUIEM” on Nov. 5

Press release from Dance Alive National Ballet

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Dance Alive National Ballet will be performing an All Saints’ Concert featuring Heather Sorenson’s REQUIEM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on November 5 at 4 p.m.

REQUIEM is a new work choreographed by DANB Artistic Director Kim Tuttle and guest choreographer Cristina Helena. The entire Company has poured their heart into this work, even learning how to sign for one section. The venue is exquisite and forces dancers and choreographers to explore space in a new way.

Always a joy to perform with live music, the evening will feature the Festival Choir, soloists, and chamber orchestra under the direction of Dr. John T. Lowe, Jr.  This performance is presented at no charge. You will need to arrive early to get a good seat!
