Press release from Deeper Purpose Community Church
Deeper Purpose Community Church has secured 13 acres of vacant land in High Springs and has launched Building Purpose Campaign 1,000. After a desperate need for more space for our many programs and ministries over the past two years, this is certainly an answer to our prayers. There were many people rooting for us to obtain the Fellowship Church property, but the asking price was honestly too much for us to try to achieve.
This property sits right at the High Springs and Alachua line and is exactly where we desired to be so we could continue to serve both cities, as well as surrounding areas.
Now that the land has been secured, we are moving forward with the Building Purpose 1,000 Campaign, where we are believing and asking 100 people, families, businesses, organizations, churches, or silent donors to donate a financial seed, by faith, of $1,000 in the next 100 days. The community is already on board, the news has spread, and we are well on our way. We’re doing a combined land and construction loan because we do not want to purchase just the land and let it continue to sit vacant for years.
There are many things that we desire to do and will do with this land that will be a blessing to so many in our communities. We are not just building a church; we are building a multipurpose center, to be called the Deeper Purpose Community Complex, that will house our church, preschool and elementary school classes, and our youth, community, and outreach centers. All of this will be done in phases as donations and potential grants become available. The land will soon be cleared, and we will began to hold events and fundraisers on the property.
