All clear: Deputies investigating Buchholz High School bomb threat

Update: The all-clear has been given. After a methodical search, including the use of bomb-detection K-9s, the threat was determined to be false.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Multiple Deputies are on scene at Buchholz High School due to an anonymous call reporting that a bomb had been placed inside one of the buildings.

Deputies have secured students and staff in a safe location, while conducting a methodical search of the school.

This incident may be prolonged as deputies work to ensure that students, staff, and first responders remain safe.
