GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Eagle Riders from the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 4385 will be hosting their Motorific Family Fun Day at the Eagles’ Landing (7118 W. University Ave.) in Gainesville on Sunday, May 19, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Eagles are a national not-for-profit fraternal club dedicated to People Helping People. It is a private club by membership but will be open to the public for this event. So mark your calendar. Bring the entire family and join us for some wholesome fun.
There will be games for adults and children, food, and even a motorcycle parade. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be hot off the grill with all the fixin’s. Take time to enjoy our large beautiful pond and feed the koi fish. They’re always hungry. Join in on the corn-hole or horseshoe competitions or just bask in the sun with your favorite beverage. Even enjoy a motorcycle parade.
Eagle Riders is a charitable club that calls Eagles’ Landing their home. The club raises money for charities, and members have fun doing so while enjoying their passion for riding. Eagle Riders go on frequent pleasure rides to area attractions and enjoy delicious food at many of the great restaurants around North Central Florida. Eagle Riders membership is open to all members of the Eagles, and the club welcomes anyone that enjoys riding and helping others. Don’t have a motorcycle? No problem. A motorcycle is not needed to be a member and join in the fun.
The Eagle Riders will be participating in a short motorcycle parade that will begin in the Eagles Landing parking lot and down the road to Home Depot and back. It will be great fun to watch these seasoned riders take their bikes out for a spin. It will be rumbling loud. Pick your favorite motorcycle to have a chance at winning a prize.
