ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – FDOT has announced the following road and lane closures for the week of Dec. 13-19, 2025:

  • High Springs Main Street (U.S. 41) from Railroad Avenue to Northwest 192nd Avenue (29.829548233820766, -82.59548412996355). Nighttime road closure Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. for a permitted event. Law enforcement will assist with traffic management.
  • Northeast Waldo Road (State Road 24) from south of University Avenue (State Road 26) to north of Northeast 31st Lane (439489-2-52-01) (29.669515656894617, -82.29941702086357). Nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for concrete work.
  • State Road 26 at Hatchet Creek (Bridge #260033) (207761-2-52-01) (29.687911075105053, -82.20639086034188). Daytime lane closures weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for bridge construction.
  • U.S. 301 from State Road 20 to State Road 26 (207794-3-52-01) (29.66084954331791, -82.11544130628292). Daytime lane closures weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for road work.
  • U.S. 301 from Southwest 129th Way to Starke (29.923447920858912, -82.1383612383176). Nighttime lane closures weeknights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for work on median.
  • West University Avenue (State Road 26) from Northwest 45th Street to Northwest 53rd Terrace (29.65190618396185, -82.26615850001468). Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for sidewalk work.
