ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – FDOT has announced the following road and lane closures for the week of Dec. 6-12, 2025:

• East University Avenue (State Road 26) at Northeast 14th Street (29.65151846827137, -82.30748865784486). Daytime westbound lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for drainage work.
• I-75 at Southwest Williston Road (29.60213057633309, -82.3729815418879) Nighttime northbound ramp closure Wednesday from 10 to 11 p.m. for road work. Follow detour.
• I-75 at U.S. 441 (29.801775156402503, -82.51392457938864) Nighttime northbound ramp closure Wednesday from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for road work. Follow detour.
• Northwest 39th Avenue (State Road 222) from Northwest 14th Street to Northwest 12th Terrace (207533-2-52-01/207611-5-52-01) (29.688550370482996, -82.33888137460859) Nighttime lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for road work.
• Northwest 39th Avenue (State Road 222) from Northwest 40th Street to Northwest 24th Boulevard (207533-2-52-01/207611-5-52-01) (29.688643553139848, -82.376507375847). Nighttime lane closures Wednesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for road work.

• West University Avenue (State Road 26) from Northeast Ninth Street to Northwest 10th Street (29.651979927529947, -82.3254920469438). Daytime road closure Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a permitted event. Law enforcement will assist with traffic management.
