FDOT road and lane closures, July 6-12

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The following roads in Alachua County will be affected by FDOT work during the week of July 6-12, 2024:

• Hawthorne Road at Southeast 20th Street (29.647862329711774, -82.29914067376572) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for median work.
• Northwest 13th Street at Northwest Fifth Avenue (29.655730, -82.339222) Daytime lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for curb and sidewalk construction.
• Southwest 13th Street at Southwest Fifth Avenue (29.64736904108889, -82.33930358911032) Daytime lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for curb and sidewalk construction.
• Southwest Second Avenue (State Road 26A) just east of Southwest 34th Street (29.650335, – 82.372042) Continuous lane closures and traffic shifts for utility repairs. A full pedestrian detour will be in place during the entire duration of construction.
• U.S. 441 from County Road 2054 to Northwest 147th Drive (FIN 207648-5-52-01) (29.79325462615254, -82.49335504894758) Daytime lane closures weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for landscaping work.
