FDOT scheduled to begin resurfacing project on State Road 45 (U.S. 41) from the Levy County line to State Road 24 on June 10

ARCHER, Fla. – Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 10, on a project to resurface U.S. 41 (State Road 45) from the Levy County line to State Road 24. Project improvements include milling and resurfacing, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, highway signing, guardrail, sidewalks, and other incidental construction.
Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. was awarded the $3.8 million resurfacing project. The project is expected to be completed in early 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Lane closures throughout the corridor are expected on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lane closures are necessary to facilitate the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and construction personnel during improvements.
