FDOT to host public meetings for proposed improvements to State Road 24 in Waldo

WALDO, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a Hybrid Public meeting to discuss the proposed improvements for State Road 24 (Waldo Road) Resurfacing/Lane Repurposing Project from west of Northeast 141st Drive to U.S. 301 in Alachua County. 

There are several options to participate. The Public Meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, July 18, beginning with an open house at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation and public comment period at 6 p.m. To attend the virtual meeting, log on to www.nflroads.com/Waldo or by phone at (562) 247-8422 and enter access code 322-823-320.

An in-person meeting will be held Thursday, July 20, at the Waldo City Square located at 14450 Northeast 148th Avenue, Waldo, FL  32694, with an open house beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by a presentation and public comment period at 6 p.m.

This meeting serves to inform the public of the proposed improvements and serves as an official forum for the public to express their opinions and concerns regarding the project.
