FHP car involved in Waldo Road crash

Today at 9:07 a.m., a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) officer and a Keystone Heights man suffered minor injuries when their cars collided at NE Waldo Road and NE 39th Avenue.
The marked FHP Chevy Tahoe, driven by a 38-year-old Tallahassee man, was traveling east on NE 39th Avenue through the intersection at NE Waldo Road with a green traffic signal. A Hyundai Elantra driven by a 22-year-old Keystone Heights man was traveling west on NE 39th Avenue at the time and attempted to make a left turn onto NE Waldo Road, with a red light, in front of the FHP vehicle. The front of the FHP vehicle struck the right side of the Elantra, and both drivers suffered minor injuries.
