Update: FHP seeking info in Keystone Heights hit-and-run fatality

A 37-year-old Keystone Heights man was killed sometime before 7:00 a.m. on December 10 while walking west on SR 26, approximately 3/4 of a mile west of CR 1469. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene; his next of kin have now been notified.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is seeking information on the unknown vehicle that struck the pedestrian. FHP investigators believe the vehicle is a 2007 to 2012 Dodge Caliber sedan or a 1996-2007 Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Caravan, or Chrysler Town & County minivan that is missing a black plastic passenger-side mirror and also has significant damage to the right side windshield.
