Firestone Complete Auto Care celebrates grand opening of first location in Alachua

ALACHUA, Fla. – Last Thursday, Bridgestone Retail Operations (“BSRO”), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Inc. (“Bridgestone”), officially opened the doors of its newest Firestone Complete Auto Care (“Firestone”) tire and automotive service center in Alachua. 

The new store, located at 16308 NW US Hwy 441, is the first in the Alachua area. The location features an in-store experience designed to provide customers with excellent, modern service, including digital displays and new automotive technologies and equipment operated by trained technicians for fast repairs.

The ribbon-cutting event on Thursday, Sept. 18, included remarks from company leaders and a donation presentation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida as part of the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures initiative, which has raised more than $30 million to help kids and teens gain access to Boys & Girls Clubs resources across the U.S. since 2015. The donation will help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida provide a safe, productive environment for area kids and teens during critical out-of-school hours.
