Flags will be at half-staff on Patriot Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis issued the following statement:

“It has been 24 years since the United States of America was attacked by radical Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001. Our Nation stands united in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost on that day, including many first responders, local law enforcement, and military personnel who demonstrated selfless courage in the face of terror. To honor and remember those who were lost on that day, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, September 11, 2025.”
