Forest Grove Baptist Church offers Vacation Bible School, June 21-25

Press release from Forest Grove Baptist Church

In big cities, we can look up and see I-beams floating overhead, carefully guided into place by powerful machinery. Where steel and glass coverage in a colossal design appears to almost touch the sky. These magnificent structures were elaborately designed and intricately built. Yet they all began the same way, with concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes, and most importantly, a solid foundation.

This summer, your children have an opportunity to learn that Jesus’ love will provide a foundation that lasts. Each day, children can engage in activities, play fun games, enjoy a light supper, sing songs, and learn about missions – and they all support Jesus’ mission. Our theme this year is “Concrete and Cranes: Building on the Love of Jesus.”

It’s Vacation Bible School time at Forest Grove Baptist Church, 22575 NW 94th Avenue, Alachua. Children ages 3-18 are invited to participate in VBS June 21-25, 5:30-8:30 p.m. A light supper will be served to all participants, 5:30-6 p.m.

Teens will experience Bible study and special activities planned especially for them.

This week of fun, food, and exciting learning opportunities is free of charge and open to everyone. Forest Grove Baptist Church follows CDC guidelines for in-person gatherings.
