Forest Park Open House for Future Renovations

The City of Gainesville’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department and the Wild Spaces & Public Places program invites you to attend an open house to discuss future improvements at Forest Park.

Under the pavilion next to the restrooms

Suggested upgrades to the park currently include improvements to drainage, soccer fields and sport courts, signage, field and parking area lighting, dog park areas, pavilion and park amenities, as well as the addition of a soccer ball barrier along SW 43rd Street.

The park renovation is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2022.
