Four people displaced, nobody injured in Monday morning residential fire

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Fire Rescue crews responded this morning to a residential fire at 2511 NE 11th Terr.
According to a social media post, crews were initially told that two occupants were inside the building. Incident Commander Mike Steele said that despite heavy fire and worsening conditions, crews fought to search the home until they confirmed that nobody was inside.
Four occupants were displaced by the fire, and the Red Cross has been called to assist. No injuries have been reported due to the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
