Frazer School middle school team wins Central Florida Winter History Bowl

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Frazer School students dominated at the 2026 Central Florida Winter History Bee and Bowl, held at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park on January 24th. This International Academic Competition (IAC) consisted of a History Bowl with team players and a History Bee, where students competed against other students as individuals. Players need worldwide historical knowledge to succeed.

The Frazer School won first place in the middle school division of the History Bowl, winning every single round with a final score of 940, compared to the next closest score of 590. The bowl players are Samvar Jain, Lorien Johnson, Isabella Mendoza, and Brayden Wagner. The team is now eligible to compete in the Nationals IAC History Bowl competition held in Orlando in May. 

Isabella Mendoza placed second in the middle school History Bee, and Brayden Wagner placed third.

In addition, Samvar Jain earned gold medals in both the IAC History Bee and Geography Bee at the Tampa Bay Winter Regionals on January 17th, qualifying him to compete at the National and International IAC competitions to be held later this summer.
