Ft. White motorcyclist in critical condition following High Springs crash

At about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6, a 22-year-old Ft. White man on a motorcycle was traveling south on SR 45 near NW 122nd Avenue when he braked abruptly for unknown reasons, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road onto the western shoulder. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on a paved driveway. The motorcyclist was transported to UF Health Shands in critical condition.
