Gainesville Metropolitan Area Long-Range Transportation Plan Community Virtual Public Workshop

The Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization for the Gainesville Urbanized Area is updating its Long-Range Transportation Plan. They are hosting a Community Virtual Public Workshop on June 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will present transportation plans and receive community input.This workshop will address:

  • Alternative 1 – Revenue forecast transit project emphasis
  • Alternative 2 – Revenue forecast roadway capacity project emphasis
  • Congested transportation system network corridors
  • Transportation system network capacity needs
