GPD announces new personnel assignments

Following Chief Inspector Jorge Campos’ retirement from the Gainesville Police Department in early November, GPD Chief Tony Jones announced 2 key personnel moves within the Department.

Effective Monday, November 16, 2020, Captain Jaime Kurnick assumed the responsibilities of the Chief Inspector position and Lieutenant Robert Fanelli became the acting District 2 Patrol Captain.
