GPD investigating shots fired at Tiger Bay Apartments

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, at approximately 12:00 p.m., GPD officers responded to 484 SE 24th Drive (Tiger Bay Apartments) in reference to several calls of multiple shots fired. After arriving to the scene, officers discovered bullet holes in a window of one of the apartments and a single bullet hole in a vehicle parked nearby.
At this time there are no suspects, but GPD detectives are following up on several leads.
As GPD continues to address the growing instances of shots fired, shootings, and armed robberies occurring in and around Gainesville, we ask our neighbors to remain vigilant and aware. We continue our partnership with local and federal law enforcement agencies and prosecutors in curbing this violence and bringing those responsible for these crimes to justice.
