GPD seeks additional information about suspect

In September of 2021, Trevor Alec Hruby (DOB: 06/27/1998) was arrested by the Gainesville Police Department (GPD) for sexually abusing young children at a local daycare in Gainesville, Florida.

Subsequent investigation by GPD detectives revealed concerning information that Hruby advertised babysitting services online and had previous employment in the Gainesville area that put him in close contact with young children on a daily basis.
