GRU tries to reassure employees

GRU General Manager Ed Bielarski has sent a second letter to GRU employees, trying to reassure them about plans to lay off employees if the proposed Transition Plan is passed.

The letter offers several options that mostly offer help in finding new jobs. The promised savings of the Transition Plan are based on purchasing power instead of generating it locally, resulting in cost savings from layoffs and reduced fuel purchases.
