Press release from Heartwood Soundstage
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Join us to mark nearly a decade of live music, performance, and community at Heartwood Music Fest IX, Saturday, June 14, 2025. The festival theme is “All Together Now!” with a special lineup featuring collaborations, cameos, and superband mashups in nearly every set. The festival itself this year is collaboratively produced by The Listening Room and Heartwood Soundstage with cameo sets curated by Dion Dia and Pulp Arts.
The festival begins with doors at 3 p.m. and music at 4 p.m., with live performances staggered on indoor and outdoor stages. The early half of the lineup includes RnB folk from Purple Kloud; a classic rock party set with The Shambles; an indie folk ensemble with Mark Archer, Stirling Myles, and the Crying Tiger Band; original Americana with Uncle Mosie and Wax Wings; a singer-songwriter duet from Jordan Foley and Kyle Keller; and a Pulp Arts-curated set featuring Edmondson and Spirit Tramp.
Evening performances include the soft folk duo, Suddenly; indie crooner Thomas Allain, joined on stage with members of Prizilla; a Jazz vocalist combo of Kristen Warren and Haylin Watkins; pop rock from Jordan Burchel, joined onstage by Kevin PM; a hip hop cypher curated by Dion Dia; and a high energy performance by Sooza Brass Band. The night will end with an international dance party in the soundstage by Dunce Party, known for spinning world mixes of cumbia, soca, afrobeats, and more until 11 o’clock.
A handful of art, food, and beverage vendors will be featured on the Heartwood lawn, and food will also be available at neighboring South Main Station restaurants Humble Wood Fire and Bingo Deli. Free parking is available in the South Main Station’s parking lot. Tickets can be purchased for a discount in advance. Student tickets are just $10, and group 4 pack discounts are also available.
