High Springs man killed in single-vehicle accident in Williston

WILLISTON, Fla. – An 85-year-old High Springs man was killed yesterday in a single-vehicle accident in Williston.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a minivan south on CR 241 near the 9600 block of NE 150th Avenue in Levy County at about 6 p.m. yesterday when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and hit a fence and then hit a large tree. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
