Press release from First Presbyterian Church of High Springs

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – On Saturday, March 17, 28 people of all ages from three different churches gathered for breakfast at the Presbyterian church and then walked across the street to the Police Department to landscape, paint, and generally clean up. Children of all ages helped, and many could be seen all over town picking up litter in the common areas. Even Mayor Tristan Grunder and Police Chief Antoine Sheppard could be seen lending a hand. Members of the High Springs Church of God, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and First Presbyterian Church wanted to make a difference in the community by serving together as part of the ministerial association.

The High Springs Ministerial Association is an informal group that regularly brings together all of the church pastors in High Springs. This includes nearly every denomination working together to support one another and the community.
