Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Center Opens

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The City of Gainesville has opened its newest nature center, which will offer activities for the entire family.

A historic farm house was renovated and restored to become Gainesville’s newest nature center at the Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Park, 1500 NW 45th Avenue. The center features hands-on exhibits as well as science programs for children and a guest speaker series for adults. Watch the short video about the center or view the photo album.The nature center is open to the public during the following hours:
