Insulin available at no charge at GRACE Marketplace

Grace Pharmacy is giving away insulin again. The Humulin N and Humulin R, donated to Grace Pharmacy, comes in 10 ml vials, and is for people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
The pharmacy is located at GRACE Marketplace, 3055 NE 28th Ave in Gainesville. Pharmacy Manager Tim Rogers said a prescription is not required to dispense these types of insulin, but in order to pick some up, people need to know if they are using Humulin N or Humulin R.
Insulin prices continue to rise in the U.S., and those without insurance or on a fixed income struggle to afford it. The Humulin R expires July 31, 2021, and the Humulin N on December 31, 2021, so come on down and get a supply.
Grace Pharmacy is open Monday – Friday, 1 – 5 p.m.
