Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event to be held October 22

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The annual Gainesville Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk will be held on Saturday, October 22, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Celebration Pointe. Opening ceremonies begin at 8:00, and the walk kicks off right at 9:00 a.m.

The Pink Out Zone will feature beads, tattoos, pink hair spray, pinwheels, pompoms, and more.

The Making Strides Wall of Hope will provide an opportunity to dedicate a tribute in memory of a lost loved one or in honor of someone who has battled or is currently battling breast cancer. Tributes can be personalized and will be displayed on the wall.

Survivors can pick up a Survivor bag and Survivor sash in the patio area of The Keys Grill & Piano Bar.

Co-branded Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille/Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Pink Visors will be sold at a table in front of Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille, including a limited supply of visors signed by The Head Ball Coach Steve Spurrier.
