March 22 evening update: 35 Alachua County cases

According to the state dashboard, Alachua County now has 35 COVID-19-positive cases, up from 25 at this time yesterday. No deaths have been reported. The average age of those who have tested positive in the county is 40.

The state has 1007 cases (an increase of 244 from this time yesterday) and 13 deaths (no increase).

The dashboard shows that 4 people in Alachua County have been hospitalized (no change). 21 COVID-19 tests are pending. 584 people have been tested so far in Alachua County, and 528 tests have come back negative, so over 90% of the tests so far have been negative.
