Millhopper Montessori School Thespians organize food drive

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Students in the Spotlight Kids Thespian Group at Millhopper Montessori School recently organized a food drive in support of Peaceful Paths, a nonprofit organization that assists survivors of domestic violence throughout Gainesville and surrounding counties.

The food drive was held on the Millhopper Montessori School campus and encouraged students, families, and staff members to donate nonperishable food items to help local families in need. Through this initiative, students had the opportunity to practice compassion, teamwork, and community involvement while making a positive impact beyond the classroom.

Millhopper Montessori School students, families, and staff members collected more than 200 canned food items for families supported by Peaceful Paths over a two-week period. The donations will help provide support to individuals and families throughout the local community.
