New Horizons Fest brings a week of jazz and adventurous music to Gainesville
Press release from New Horizons Fest
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – New Horizons Fest is a week-long celebration of jazz and adventurous music, taking place February 23 through March 1 at venues across Gainesville. The festival brings together local, regional, and nationally recognized artists for a series of concerts, showcases, film screenings, and late-night explorations that highlight the city’s vibrant creative music community and concludes with a performance by the luminary drummer and producer, Makaya McCraven.
Spanning intimate club performances, outdoor concerts, and special one-night events, New Horizons Fest emphasizes boundary-pushing jazz, improvised music, and cross-genre experimentation.
