No injuries in morning fire

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – At approximately 3:59 a.m., Gainesville Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a working residential building fire at 2048 NE 16^th Terr. The first two units arrived on scene in under 5 minutes to find a single-story vacant house with fire coming from the roof. 14 Firefighters worked quickly to control the fire. There were no injuries reported, and no one appears to be displaced. This fire is currently under investigation to determine the origin and cause.
