Palatka woman killed in single-car accident on CR 1469

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 50-year-old Palatka woman was traveling south on County Road 1469 near NE 100th Ave this morning at 5:00 a.m. when the car went off the roadway and hit a tree. After hitting the tree, the sedan overturned and came to rest on its roof. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
