Photos: Crews extinguish fire in Cedar Grove neighborhood

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Fire Rescue crews extinguished a fire overnight on NE 11th Place, in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. Four adults were displaced as a result of the fire.
At about 12:58 a.m. on October 27, Gainesville Fire Rescue crews responded to a residential building fire on NE 11th Place. Multiple callers reported the fire, and units DC1, DC2, E1, E3, R34, SQ1, and TW1, along with law enforcement officers, arrived quickly on scene.
The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported. Four adults were displaced as a result of the fire, and the Red Cross is providing assistance to those affected. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
