Public schools closed until at least April 15

Due to COVID-19, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that students will not return to school until at least April 15 and that all K-12 testing requirements for the 2019-20 school year will be canceled.

The Florida Department of Education will be providing more guidance over the next few days regarding graduation and other critical issues. 

Alachua County Public Schools expects to begin providing for ‘instructional continuity’ for their students soon after Spring Break.
