Rep. Cammack To Honor Local Heroes On House Floor

Tonight, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) will honor seven hometown heroes from Florida’s Third Congressional District in a speech on the Floor of the House of Representatives as part of this week’s special order hours. The congresswoman put out a call to constituents in Florida’s Third Congressional District, asking individuals to submit the names of neighbors, family members, and friends who have gone above and beyond the call of duty during the COVID pandemic over the last year.

Congresswoman Cammack’s office received over a dozen submissions in the last several days and will be honoring the following:

Sheriff Michelle Cook – Clay County

Sergeant Kimberly Miller (Ret.) – Green Cove Springs

Dr. Mike Leader – Fleming Island

Peggie French – Orange Park

Justin Dean – Orange Park

Rhonda Wilson – Gainesville

Sheriff Billy Woods – Marion County
