GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Below are the updated City of Gainesville traffic impacts scheduled for Feb. 28-March 7, 2025. 

New Notices

SE Fifth Avenue: Southeast Fifth Avenue will be closed with detours between Southeast Third Street and 400 Southeast Fifth Avenue, Feb. 28 through March 31, 2025..

Continuing Notices

NW First Street: Northwest First Street, between West University Avenue to Northwest First Avenue, will be one-way headed northbound until March 18.

SE 13th Road: Southeast 13th Road, between South Main Street and Southeast Veitch Street, will be closed with detours until March 31.

NW Sixth Street: Northwest Sixth Street, between Northwest Eighth Avenue and Northwest Seventh Avenue, has single-lane closures (right-turn lane only) headed southbound until March 15. 

SW 16th Avenue: There will be an outside, northbound lane closure on Southwest 16th Avenue, from Southwest Sixth Street north 600 feet, until Feb. 28.

There will also be an auxiliary lane closure along Southwest Sixth Street for the southbound, left turn lane approaching Southwest 16th Avenue until Feb. 28.

Note: All lane and road closures are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions, such as inclement weather.
