Rum 138’s 10th Anniversary Music & Art Festival to be held Nov. 18-20

FORT WHITE, Fla. – Rum 138 will celebrate its 10th Anniversary with a Music & Arts Festival, “Cats Under the Stars,” a 3-Day camping event, Friday to Sunday, November 18, 19, and 20 at its location at 2070 SW County Road 138, Fort White, Florida. This event promises a fun-filled weekend of live music, art, yoga, camping, and kayak trips on the Santa Fe River, located in north central Florida. Weekend and day passes are available. The event also features a pre-party on Thursday, November 17. The event will include a picking tent, live silent disco, and food and craft vendors. Daily canoe and kayak trips are available by reservation at rum138.com.
Four Days of Fun!
On Thursday, November 17th, the doors open at 11 a.m. for the Pre-Party kickoff. Early birds can catch the shuttle and get on the river or tour the art gallery for a nature fix before the music starts. At 4:20 p.m., resident musical host, In The Moment, brings their ‘Jamamerican’ rock, followed by the one and only, since 1989, Glass Camels from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. A single-day pass for Pre-Party is $25 including parking.
On Friday, November 18th, Stone House opens the three-day-long festival at 4:20 p.m. At 7 p.m., Billy Gilmore Bluegrass Band with Brett Bass. At 10 p.m., the stage goes acoustic with Quartermoon followed by Ambient Benevolence at midnight.
Saturday, November 19th kicks off at noon with Dan Granville and The Good Wood Band at 2 p.m. The evening brings The New Rulers at 4:20 p.m., followed by Marcus Rezak’s Shred is Dead at 7 p.m. “I like to take the Grateful Dead and make it a little more high-octane, a little faster, and a little more energized,” says Rezak. The Vowls take the stage at 10 p.m., followed by an acoustic show by The Pine Box Dwellers at midnight.
Sunday, November 20th rounds out the weekend with another full day of talent starting with The Funky Miracle at 1 p.m. Free Range Strange takes the stage at 3:20 p.m. At 6 p.m., The Garcia Project takes the stage until 9 p.m., followed by Kittens in Spaceships to close out the weekend festivities.
General admission is $99 for the three-day event, including primitive camping. Day Passes are available Friday through Sunday for $39 per person and $25 for Thursday’s Pre-Party, including parking. A VIP Weekend Package is also available for $199. Limited weekend RV camping passes are available. There are no refunds.
Rum 138 is a community-based eco-tourism destination focused on protecting the Santa Fe River and the numerous springs it contains.
