Run, Walk, or Roll with the Cops on Nov. 9 at Santa Fe College

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Run with the Cops returns Thursday, Nov. 9, at 9:30 a.m. to Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus track, 3000 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville.

Open to the entire community, the free event supports vulnerable populations in our area. Participants can run, walk, or roll along the track with law enforcement officers from local agencies. They can also get an up-close look at police and fire rescue, specialty and antique vehicles, learn important safety tips, and more.

SFPD Police Chief Ed Book says the event allows the community to see police as allies, not adversaries, and promotes safety, security, health, and wellness at Santa Fe College.

This year’s event is sponsored in part by the Santa Fe College Foundation and Gainesville Health & Fitness.
