The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Environmental and Community Horticulture Programs for September 2020. These programs are being offered by Dr. Taylor Clem, Environmental and Community Horticulture Agent.
Black Gold: Composting for Beginners – September 1, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This is a Zoom webinar.
This webinar teaches the basics of composting, including the benefits of compost, building compost, and troubleshooting common compost issues.
There is no registration fee, but participants must register online (those needing assistance with registering can call the Extension Office at 352-955-2402). This webinar is limited to 100 participants.
Growing Wildflowers in Your Landscape – September 15, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This is a Zoom webinar.
This webinar teaches growing wildflowers in landscapes by learning about site preparation, wildflower selection, and maintaining wildflowers.
There is no registration fee, but participants must register online (those needing assistance with registering can call the Extension Office at 352-955-2402). This webinar is limited to 100 participants.
